Research Sector announces winners of Scientific Research for academic year 2018/2019

The president of Kuwait University, Prof. Hussain Al-Ansari, endorsed the recommendations of the higher committee for Researchers Awards for the academic year 2018/2019, and Prof. Jasem yousuf Al-Kandari, Vice President for Research,  congratulated the winners, wishing them more success in the future. The VPR announced the winners in all categories of Researchers Awards winners 2018/2019 as follows:

Distinguished Researcher Award in Basic and Applied Sciences:

• Prof. Mohammad Fahim - Department of Electrical Engineering – Faculty of Engineering & Petroleum
• Prof. Nejib Smaoui - Department of Mathematics – Faculty of Sciences
• Prof. Khaldoun Rahal - Department of Civil Engineering – Faculty of Engineering & Petroleum

The Distinguished Researcher Award in the field of Arts & Humanities was withheld.

Best Young Researcher Award in Basic & Applied Sciences : 

• Dr. Hussain Behbehani - Department of Biological Sciences – faculty of Sciences

The Best Young Researcher Award in the field of Arts & Humanities was withheld.
