A KOC delegation visits OVPR

A delegation from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) visited the Office of the Vice President for Research on September 15, 2019, where the purpose of the visit was to complete coordination in the cooperation agreement signed between the two parties recently in the field of strategic research and development.

Participants in the meeting discussed the mechanism to start the implementation of the joint project at the financial and administrative levels, and the process of cooperation between the two parties to enhance the fields of research and development.

The five-year agreement aims to cooperate in the fields of reservoirs, heavy oil and natural gas, besides technology and knowledge transfer, and develop capacities in the areas of research and development.
