The Research Sector Organized a Workshop on "Making an Outstanding Scientific Poster: From Concept to Completion"

The Office of External Research Collaboration and Consultation at the Research Sector organized a workshop titled: "Making an Outstanding Scientific Poster: From Concept to Completion". The workshop held on Wednesday 25/9/2024 at the Faculty of Science – South Campus was presented by Dr. Ala'a Al-Obaid, Journal of Sharia's editorial board member– Kuwait University.

The workshop addressed the designing and making of distinguished scientific posters from a visual and informational perspective. Dr. Al-Obaid highlighted the basics of designing scientific posters explaining how to organize content effectively using colors, fonts and images. She also provided practical examples of various scientific posters, and essential advice and guidance to produce outstanding posters presentable at scientific conferences and specialized poster events.

At the end of the workshop, Prof. Noriya Al-Kandari, Assistant Vice President for External Research Collaboration and Consultations, honored Dr. Ala'a Al-Obaid in recognition of her efforts in preparing the content of the workshop benefitting the academic community.
