RS Organizes an Intensive Training Course on: “Rules of Academic Publishing and International Classification”

The Research Sector organized an intensive training course on “Rules of Academic Publishing and International Classification” on Monday, February 19th, 2024, in the meeting room of the Research Sector, University Administration Building - Sabah Al-Salem University City, in which the RS hosted Prof. Mahmoud Abdel-Aty Abu Hassoub, President of the Arab Impact Factor and Vice President of the African Union for Mathematics.

The training course is dedicated to the editors-in-chief of scientific journals under the Academic Publication Council at the Research Sector. The course addresses several topics, such as methods of writing research in scientific journals, rules and standards of the international classification of refereed scientific journals, guidelines for establishing scientific journals and reaching international classification. The course also touches upon the topics of Arab journals ranked in international databases, rules for classifying journals in the Arab Impact Factor, open-source journals, and academic blackmail.
