Research Sector Organized a Workshop on "Research Poster Design: An Artistic Perspective on Academic Communication"

The External Research Collaboration Office at the Research Sector organized a workshop on "Research Poster Design: An Artistic Perspective on Academic Communication" for academic faculty members and graduate students. The workshop, held on Wednesday 29/11/2023 at the College of Science in Sabah Al-Salem University City- Shadadiya, was conducted by Dr. Hasan Al_Haddad, Department of Biological Sciences, College of Science.

Highlighting the importance of the workshop, Dr. Al-Haddad said that the workshop involved hands-on training on how to design posters in a proper scientific way using MS PowerPoint. Participants were able to design a well-integrated poster as a practical example.

Meanwhile, Dr. Haneen Al-Ghabra, Assistant Vice President for External Research Collaboration and Consultation, said that this workshop is essential for researchers in assisting them properly design scientific posters and therefore be able to participate in the Poster Day event held at the RS annual conference. She also emphasized that the workshop falls within RS priorities in developing research capabilities and competence of KU's researchers to accomplish distinguished scientific research.
