The RS Organizes a Workshop on “Grant Writing Proposal” at the College of Science

The Office of External Research Collaboration and Consultation at the Research Sector organized a workshop titled “Grant Writing Proposal” presented by Prof. Suzanne Al-Bustan from the College of Science on Tuesday 21/11/2023, at the College of Science - South Building- Sabah Al-Salem University City – Shadadiya.

The workshop dealt with several topics such as the principles of developing the idea and objectives of a scientific research, guidelines on how to write it, define and test its hypothesis by developing a special experimental design that addresses and achieves the desired objectives of the research.

Prof. Al-Bustan also demonstrated how to prepare a research budget and determine its duration, the tasks to be carried out during this time, the equipment and materials required to accomplish the research, in addition to other aspects needed by the researcher in order to prepare an integrated research proposal.

Dr. Haneen Al-Ghabra, Assistant Vice President for External Research Collaboration and Consultation, said that the Research Sector constantly strives to assist researchers successfully continue their research endeavors through organizing various specialized training courses and workshops, hoping that these events will serve academic faculty members and graduate students across all KU's faculties in the best way.
