A Delegation from Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation Visits the Research Sector

As part of the efforts aimed to enhance the positions of Kuwait University through communication and exchange of experiences with local institutions, Prof. Othman Al-Khudir, Acting Vice President for Research, along with his assistants, Prof. Noriah Al-Kandari, Assistant Vice President for Research Analysis and Development, Prof. Abdullah Sultan, Assistant Vice President for Research Implementation and Finance, and Dr. Haneen Al-Ghabra, Assistant Vice President for External Research Collaboration and Consultation, welcomed a delegation from Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation on Wednesday 29 September 2023. The delegation was represented by Ms. Lina Al-Mutawa, Director of the Studies and External Relations Department, Ms. Reham Bukhoh, Superintendent of the Studies and External Relations Department, Ms. Suhaila Al-Oumi, Head of the External Relations Department, and Dr. Iman Al-Mulla, Head of the Awqaf Magazine Department.

The visit aimed to strengthen bilateral relations between Kuwait University and Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation. The two parties touched on the importance of expanding horizons of future scientific and cultural cooperation, as well as realizing the latest developments research developments in the field of endowments. The visit was considered an opportunity to review the possibility of coordination and scientific cooperation between both institutions in research areas of common interest in the service of research, development and comprehensive progress. The meeting also raised the need to reformulate the terms of the agreement concluded between the two sides in light of future aspirations to elevate the level of research in the field of endowment.
