KU’s Research Sector met with the Environment Public Authority

Following its mission in developing inter-institutional alliances, the Research Sector organized a coordination meeting with the Environment Public Authority which was represented by Dr. Hanan Al-Sarawi, Head of Research Studies Office. The meeting that took place on Wednesday, 5/10/2022, at the RS meeting Hall was attended by Dr. Ali Al-Mutairi, Acting Vice President for Research, along with Dr. Noriah Al-Kandari, Assistant Vice President for Research Analysis and Development, and Dr. Haneen Al-Ghabra, Assistant Vice President for External Research Collaboration and Consultation.

The parties discussed channels of research collaboration in addressing environmental challenges, in addition to the implementation of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two institutions to achieve sustainable development. The meeting also featured exchange of views on questions of mutual concerns and exploring the feasibility of further scientific cooperation.
