The Fourth Patents Forum

The RS – represented by Dr. Salman Al-Sabah, Assistant Vice President for External Research Collaboration and Consultation and the Director of the Patents and Intellectual Property Office- took part in the Fourth Patents Forum which was organized by the Marketing and Commercialization Sector at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) under the patronage of Acting Director General of KISR, Dr. Mane Al-Sudairawi, on Tuesday 15 February 2022 Via Zoom.

Dr. Al-Sabah took part in the event in explaining the role of The Patents and Intellectual Property Office at Kuwait University in registering patents by Faculty members and their commercialization. Also taking part in the event was Mohammad Al-Ansari, a faculty member from the Department of Biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine and a US registered patent holder for the academic year 2020/2021, presenting a lecture entitled a New Method and a New Treatment for Vitiligo.
