A Delegation from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) Visits the Research Sector

A delegation from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) visited RS on Wednesday 9 July 2021, where they were received by the Vice President for Research – Prof. Rashid Al-Anezi, alongside his assistants and the financial management of both parties.

The visit took place in continuation to coordinate and discuss the mechanism of the implementation of budget distribution and receiving financial payments in accordance with the cooperation agreement in the field of research and strategic development, which was signed by both parties on July 2019 for the span of five years to facilitate the cooperation in the fields of reservoirs, heavy oil and natural gas.

The agreement aims to establish research collaboration between Kuwait University (KU) and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) through the transfer of technology and knowledge, and improving the process of oil production and refining, as well as developing the industrial and technological processes, all through scientific research.
