Research Sector Conducts a Field Visit to General Facilities Laboratories at the Faculty of Medicine

Within its framework to continuously enhance the research endeavors at Kuwait University, the Research Sector (RS) took the initiative to visit the general facilities laboratories at the Faculty of Medicine on Tuesday 8 June 2021.

The delegation included Assistant Vice President for Research Analysis and Development Dr. Noriah Al-Kandari and Assistant Vice President for External Research Collaboration and Consultation Dr. Salman Al-Sabah. The delegation was received by Vice Dean for Research Prof. Eman Muqaddas and the Supervisor of the Faculty of Medicine Unit Prof. Wafaa Jamal.

The main objective of conducting the visit was to facilitate building collaboration bridges between RS and the Research Community at KU, as RS vision aims to develop a global-standard infrastructure and competitive resources to conduct high quality research at Kuwait University.

On this basis, the scope of the Research Core Facilities has been widened in all faculties through providing the most advanced laboratories within the reach of researchers at Kuwait University.
