RS Honors the Scientific Poster Day Awards Winners for the Academic Year 2020/2021
The Assistant Vice President for Research Collaboration and Consultation – Dr. Salman Al-Sabah, honored the winners of the Scientific Poster Day event for the academic year 2020/2021 on Monday and Tuesday, 24/25 May 2021 at the Institutional Innovation Hall in the Presidential Building – Khaldiya Campus.
The event aims to encourage researchers to invest their research abilities and expertise, and was held online by displaying all participating posters on a unified electronic link. This year’s event has witnessed the first participation from Medical Faculties, alongside the participation of researchers from Kuwait Institution for Scientific Research (KISR). The sum of participations reached a total of 223 scientific posters from various faculties at Kuwait University.
All participating posters underwent a unified evaluation process conducted by a specialized evaluation committee which included representatives from KU faculties to choose the winning posters in terms of their scientific content, research method, presentation, and research outcomes. The best scientific posters were chosen as winners of the Scientific Poster Day Awards within three categories, which are: Faculty Members, Academic Support Members, and Graduate Students. The evaluation process resulted in choosing the winners within each of those categories.
