The Office of Patents and Intellectual Property at Research Sector Organizes a Training Session for Researchers and Inventors with Derwent Innovation Institution

Under the patronage of Acting Vice President for Research Prof. Haider Behbehani, and in the presence of a group of researchers, inventors and an audience interested in scientific research, the Office of Patents and Intellectual Property at Research Sector organized a training session on Derwent Innovation Database, which was presented by Mr. Rohit Goul, a training manager at Derwent Institution, and held on Wednesday, 19 February 2020 at 12:30 PM in the Conference Hall (119) – Khaldiya Campus.

The aim of organizing this scientific workshop is to benefit from the contents of a global database, as it is considered one of the most important references, which includes more than 40 thousand inventors and legal consultants around the world. This allows Research Sector and all researchers at Kuwait University to access the required information and studies, as well as showcasing the scientific activity at Kuwait University, and working to improve performance in specific fields. It also facilitates the process of searching for thousands of inventions around the world.
