DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY SENIOR RESEARCH ASSISTANT (Project duration-May 2023 to April 2025)

· Should have master’s degree and bachelor’s degree (Very good grade) in biological science (example: biotechnology, biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology)

· Valid driving license in Kuwait

· Bilingual preferred (Arabic and English)

Job Responsibilities

· Contacting potential participants to explain study details and answer questions about participation along with the principle investigator

· Interviewing patients to gather information about their medical history and current status

· Explaining study procedures to participants, answering questions about the study, and providing emotional support during difficult times along with the investigator

· Collecting samples (blood/tissue) of participants from hospitals and clinics in Kuwait

· Conducting laboratory tests and experimental tests

· Recording research findings in a database or notebook for further analysis by scientists

· Perform other duties assigned by the principle investigators and supervisors

· Skills preferred: basic biochemistry and molecular techniques (Elisa, PCR, western blotting)

مساعد باحث في كلية الصحة العامة

مساعد باحث على مشروع حسب الشروط التالية:
- حاصل على درجة الماجستير كحد أدنى في تخصص ذو علاقة وطيدة بالبحث العلمي في تخصصات الصحة العامة أو السيكولوجي أو التمريض أو قد درس أساسيات البحوث النوعية، ويفضّل من له خبرة في مجال البحوث النوعية (Qualitative Research).
- ذو كفاءة في اللغة العربية والانجليزية.
- لديه المجال للعمل في ساعات منتظمة.
- لدية الرغبة والشغف للعمل في مجال الدراسات النوعية.
