The Research Sector participated with a discussion session on "Patent and Intellectual Property Registration Procedures at Kuwait University and Institutional Innovation Frameworks." The session was presented by the Head of the Patent and Intellectual Property Rights Office at the Research Sector, Shaikha Al- Sane, who provided a practical guide to Kuwait University's patent registration system and intellectual property protection frameworks, as well as KU's pivotal role in fostering a culture of institutional innovation.
This participation underscores the Research Sector's sustained efforts to promote a university-wide culture of innovation and intellectual property. It aims to help KU's researchers turn their research into patentable assets while forging stronger collaborations with official bodies, innovation hubs, and entrepreneurial organizations.
