The Research Sector, represented by the Acting Vice President for Research, Prof. Maie Dawood Al-Badr, the Assistant Vice President for External Research Cooperation and Consulting, Prof. Noura Al-Kandari, the Assistant Vice President for Research Development and Analysis, Dr. Nasser Faisal, and the Assistant Vice President for Research Funding and Implementation, Dr. Haneen Shafiq Al-Ghabra, in collaboration with the Public Authority for Youth, organized a research seminar titled "A Research Vision for Youth Issues: From Challenges to Solutions" on Monday, December 23, 2024. This seminar is part of the Research Sector's strategy at the university to enhance the role of scientific research in addressing national challenges and achieving integration with the community's needs.
The seminar focused on discussing key issues related to the Kuwaiti youth, such as strengthening national identity, combating drugs, achieving social stability, the role of modern technology in the lives of young people, and innovation as a key driver for development and progress. It emphasized the importance of unifying research efforts to find innovative solutions that align with the current stage's requirements.
The seminar was attended by a large number of researchers and interested individuals from Kuwait University, the Public Authority for Youth, and other organizations. It provided a valuable opportunity for exchanging ideas and enhancing cooperation between the university and national bodies, in addition to fostering an environment that encourages creativity and innovation to support the aspirations of youth.
