Dr. Nasser Faisal Al-Tanak, Acting Vice Director of the University for Research and Chairman of the Scientific Publishing Council, and Dr. Haneen Shafiq Al-Ghabra, Assistant Vice Director of the University for Research Funding and Implementation, met with the team from Clarivate to discuss the evaluation of journals under the Scientific Publishing Council, develop a strategy for the research path in the research sector at Kuwait University, and organize workshops to benefit researchers and the research sector team and scientific journals.

The meeting focused on three important points: trust and integrity in scientific research through the provision of responsibly designed solutions, collaboration and openness by addressing systematic issues and actively engaging the scientific research community, and innovation and impact to empower the next generation’s capabilities in accelerating research and its societal impact.
