The Office of External Research Collaboration and Consultation at the Research Sector organized a workshop titled "Making an Outstanding Scientific Poster" on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Held at the College of Science, the session was presented by Dr. Ala’a Al-Obaid from the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies for KU faculty and graduate students.

The workshop is part of the Research Sector's ongoing efforts to enhance scientific research at Kuwait University. It aims to attract more participants to the Scientific Poster event by equipping them with the skills to create high-quality posters that balance visual appeal with scientific rigor, thereby strengthening their presence at academic conferences.

Dr. Al-Obaid guided the attendees through the entire process of designing an outstanding poster, from initial concept to final implementation. She covered essential design principles, including the effective use of color, typography, and imagery to organize content clearly. The session also featured practical examples and provided key advice for producing posters that excel in competitive scientific forums.

The organization of this workshop aligns with Kuwait Vision 2035, reinforcing the Research Sector's commitment to developing creative human capital, elevating research productivity, and ultimately achieving a pioneering knowledge-based society.
