The Research Sector's Office of External Research Collaboration and Consultations held a workshop on November 25, 2025, titled "From Draft to Publication in a High-Impact Journal". The session was delivered by Prof. Khaled Orabi, College of Pharmacy, to an audience of academic faculty members and graduate students.
The workshop addressed several pivotal themes, including the objectives of scientific publishing, the significance of publishing in high-impact journals, and the essential stages from draft preparation to final publication. The session also covered the characteristics of research featured in such journals, alongside effective strategies for successful submission, methodologies for addressing reviewer feedback, and the processes of revision and acceptance.
This initiative aims to enhance the research capabilities of KU's academic community, empowering researchers to publish their work in top peer-reviewed journals, as part of KU's broader mission to promote a culture of quality in all academic, research, and administrative practices. Kuwait University is dedicated to improving its academic ranking by fostering outstanding research results, a key performance indicator for higher education institutions.
