The first meeting of the Scientific Publishing Council for the academic year 2024/2025 was held today, chaired by the Acting Vice President for Research and Chairman of the Scientific Publishing Council, Dr. Nasser Faisal Al-Tanak. The meeting was attended by the editors-in-chief of the scientific journals at the University of Kuwait, the head of the Committee for Authorship, Translation, and Publication, the Director of the Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Studies Center, and external council members.

Several topics related to the scientific journals, the Committee for Authorship and Translation, and the Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Studies Center were raised and discussed.
