Prof. Abdullah Jawad Sultan, Vice President for Research, and Dr. Abdullatif Al-Rashdan, Assistant Vice President for Research Finance & Implementation, received His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the State of Kuwait, Mr. José Cabrera III, and his accompanying delegation including Mr. Alex Valzben, the Philippine Consul, Mr. Aaron Aric Lozadeh, Vice Consul, Ms. Jordan Isabel Morales, Vice Consul, and Ms. Princess Conoy. The visit aimed to discuss matters of mutual interest and explore potential areas of cooperation between Kuwait University and universities in the Philippines.

The visit featured constructive discussions on the importance of broadening horizons for future scientific and cultural cooperation as well as exploring potential student exchange to share cultures and learn about the latest scientific and academic developments.

Welcoming H.E. the Philippines Ambassador, the Vice President for Research, Prof. Abdullah Jawad Sultan highlighted the historic and profound relations between Kuwait and the Philippines, emphasizing KU's commitment to expanding its scope of scientific and cultural cooperation worldwide, staying abreast of academic developments and most significant scientific and research advances.
